In this class, you will learn some of Tamanduas ties which make use of thin bamboo sticks tied to the body.
With some creativity and understanding of the anatomy of bondage, a bamboo stick can be used to lock the body in a firmer kind of restriction otherwise seldom achieved outside of suspension work.
The ties are minimalist in nature and should be possible to follow by anyone who has practiced the basics of tying shibari/kinbaku type rope bondage.
Class content:
How to attach rope to bamboo, and bamboo to the body using rope, so that it stays firm and does not slide easily.
3-4 specific ties/positions focused on restriction.
Prerequisites
Riggers (the one doing the tying) needs to have learned and mastered the basics of tying before attending the class. Most importantly you will need to be able to tie a single column tie easily to be able to follow the class. If you are unsure of your ability, please practice until you can do it automatically before attending.
Everyone must sign up in pairs. This is to ensure that everyone has a partner to tie for each exercise.
For couples who wish to switch, this could be possible to do only between ties, as there is not enough time to do each exercise twice.
Please bring 4 standard length ropes (7-8 meters) and 2 ropes of shorter length (2-3 meters)
Tying will happen on the floor, mostly in kneeling positions. Therefore wear clothes which are easy to move in and to tie on, for example, underwear, soft trousers or a skirt.

Payment is done in advance via transfer. It is possible to get an invoice for this.
In case you have to cancel your spot, a full refund is possible up to a week before the class date. This is to ensure it is likely that another student couple can take your vacant spot.
Where
The class takes place in the private space of the instructor in southwest Berlin. This is a queer friendly space intended for a small group of students of any orientation, identity, or background to learn together.
